What Jon Kitna is thankful for

More from A. Isaac

Most on Thanksgiving are thankful for family, health, and happiness.

Jon Kitna?

The same man who once credited his comeback from a concussion to God.

The same man who preaches to other players in the lockerroom and prays during the game.

Well, Jon Kitna is thankful the Almighty is saving him from a lifetime of sunburns.

Lions quarterback Jon Kitna on what he’s most thankful for: “That I don’t have to go to hell.”

.

If God is on Jon Kitna’s side, who could be against him?

Apparently, Brett Favre and those evil Packers.

It takes a real man to stand up for what he believes. In today’s world if your an outspoken Christian, you get talked down to on the media and especially on the net. However, God sees you all the time, and Kitna will be rewarded come Judgement Day, like it or not.

We have no idea how Jon Kitna leads his personal life. For all we know, the Christian thing could be an act.

And the only person who knows Kitna is going to heaven or hell is God himself.

I’m willing to bet that it’s not an act. When given a choice, most people, would not choose the ‘unpopular’ lifestyle of living a Godly life.

He also makes/sells his ‘Cross’ hats and donates all monies to charity/missions. These hats were big in Cincy.

Its probably not an act, however, being thankful that you are not going to hell is not a “fact”. If Kitna knew how people would be judged, especially himself, that would make him just as omnipotent as God.

Im guessing he’s not…I really think he would have been fine if he said, “Im thankful because I have faith in God and that he will lead me to Heaven”.

Nobody would have a problem with that.

Yea, he’s getting a little ahead of himself assuming he’s not going to hell..he actually sounds like a huge idiot.

He never said he was thankful he wasn’t going to hell. He said he was thankful he didn’t have to go to hell. Two different things.

He’s thankful God gave him the choice of following God and going to heaven, or living a secular life and going to hell.

Jesus said that when you pray, go to your room and close the door…. I think Kitna has other motives in mind for his in-your-face christianity. It sounds like he’s trying very hard to stay out of hell.
