Cabrera and Willis traded to Tigers!

More from A. Isaac

There have been some big trades in Detroit history

Adrian Dantley for Mark Aguirre
John Smoltz for Doyle Alexander
Grant Hill for Ben Wallace
Bench scrubs for Rasheed Wallace

And now, well now we have the biggest blockbuster in Detroit sports history.

Cameron Maybin and Andrew Miller for Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis!

It seems unreal!

For those who thought the AL was going to be Boston and New York with everybody else fighting for the table scraps, think again. This clearly puts Detroit as the favorite in the Central Division and right behind Boston as the favorites to win it all.

Yes, win it all. Dont believe me, look at this lineup

Granderson
Polanco
Cabrera
Ordonez
Sheffield
Guillen
Renteria
Jones
Pudge

Pudge, a freakin Hall of Famer is batting in the 9 hole for God Sakes.

The rotation is now set up for Bonderman and Robertson to shift down to the 4/5 slot.

Verlander
Rogers
Willis
Bondo
Robertson

I pray for the rest of Major League Baseball if the Tigers can get Zumaya healthy or get another arm in their bullpen.

Bless you Boys!

Nobody reads the other stuff….I wrote that PC police thing and I think 5 people read it….I still have riddles and trivia at least once or twice a week….

But I will do better to appease the masses

    Amazing!

One thing to consider, is that Mags had a nasty year hitting behind Sheffield. Maglio saw a lot of pitches and was very comfortable behind him (gross). Perhaps Maglio slides to the 5 hole?

In response to Bush, Tim Leyland’s (get it, huh?) lineup would be:

    Granderson CF
    Polanco 2B
    Cabrera 3B
    Ordonez RF
    Sheffield DH
    Guillen 1B
    Renteria SS
    J. Jones LF
    Pudgie C

Ordonez saw a lot of good pitches because Sheff was on base a lot.

As for the 119 loss season, Bondo, NateRob and Inge (for the time being) still remain.
