I always believe in following your dreams. But when you’re a criminal who gets warded off with an 11 year-old with a toy lightsaber, you might want to consider a new path in life.

An 11-year-old boy demonstrated The Force when he defended his mom by hitting an attacker with a toy lightsaber.

The man, in his 30s, fled after being confronted by the youngster outside a bakery in Swardeston, near Norwich, England.

Police said the boy hit the man with his toy after the man had punched and verbally abused his mother as she approached her car.

I said this guy is a criminal, but who knows what provoked him to punch and verbally abuse this kid’s mom. Maybe this kid’s mom has a real problem with taking craps on strangers’ boots. Or maybe she didn’t make his cake right. Or she was trying to vote. I like playing devil’s advocate.

That’s kind of a wussy fake toy to be scared off by. The worst that happens is he lightly taps you with it repeatedly. Or maybe shoves it somewhere unpleasant. But I’d be way more scared of a kid wielding a Nerf dart gun or something. That could poke, or so my mother told me numerous times when I grew up. I’d have never defended her with a lightsaber. NEVER.
