0-6 and falling fast

Should you be angry?

Yes

Should you be worried?

Certainly

Should you panic?

Maybe

The Tigers have looked like garbage this year. Not only is the entire team mired in a slump but now the starting pitching and defense is falling apart.

Guys are dropping routine tosses to first, guys aren’t hustling back on tag-ups, guys are bouncing into double plays at will.

Its bad folks. Not disastrous yet but after this week if the tigs aren’t in the win column, there will be despair.

I know some people are saying that the Tiger’s Latin players need warm weather to perform, and you know what I say to that

Shut the F*&^ up

Can you imagine if that was an excuse in the real world? In fact, I’m going to try it tomorrow. I’m going to walk into work and tell my boss:

“hey, I’m not going to perform well until the summer. You see, I’m Egyptian and I need it to be about 90 degrees and dry. Also, if you could build me a sandbox by my cube that would be helpful”.

Ridiculous.

Some awful individual stats from the first week

Polanco: 2-23
Pudge: 4-23, 6SO
Miggy: 2-18, 1RBI
J. Grilli: 20.25 ERA
D-Train: 7BB in 5 innings

As a team they bounced into 11 double players, scored only 15 runs, and struck out 35 times(1 in every 5.8 ABs).

Disgraceful.

Thoughts Tiger fans?

Is the poor start of the Tigers season why the Spartans rioted over the weekend?

    If so, what passion…

    boooo……

I will say this, as somebody who was actually present at a riot, from the sounds and pics of it, that was no riot…

52 arrests. Whatever you call it, it was bad.

I was also at a “riot” or two, in and around the same campus in question, so it may sound hypocritcial, but this “stuff” (call it a riot or otherwise) has run its course and needs to stop.

I believe the following says it all.

    Placido Polanco – .087
    Miguel Cabrera – .111
    Pudge Rodriguez – .174
    Gary Sheffield – .200
    Jacque Jones – .214
    Edgar Renteria – .231
    Magglio Ordonez – .280

I can’t even blame the bullpen and Jason “3 runs on 3 pitches” Grilli. Yet. They will hit, I just hope it won’t be too late.

Why is Jason Grilli still a Tiger?
They will not win a game until he is dropped from the organization.
