Via Buzzfeed comes this awesome campaign in Montana designed to discourage people from using crystal meth.

Who hasn’t had a guy in a flannel shirt boning them on the floor for either money, drugs, or gasoline? Perhaps occasionally a ride. Look, I can’t always be paying for cabs and sometimes the walk from 8th Avenue to 7th Avenue is longer than I’d like. DON’T YOU JUDGE ME.

Now this is the kind of meth usage I can get behind. I’ve always wanted to leave an old man on the floor bleeding from his head while I steal his wallet and TV but I’ve never really had the proper motivation to do so. Tell me more about this “Methamphetamine” of yours, kind stranger.
I encourage you check out the print and video ads at the link above. You may find it disturbing but, then again, if you’re reading this, you’ll probably get a perverse joy out of it.

I love how the first one seem to suggest sex for money is not really a big deal the problem it seems to suggest is that its only $15. lol It’s almost implying if she wasn’t a tweeker then she would be getting at least $250 for a little sweet loven all would be right with the world. Ugh what is the world coming to MEh.

Seriously? People are still coming from Joe Mathlete’s blog 8 months after his post to bash me? That’s just sad my young Cleveland State friend.
PS Le Singe, that is a brilliant point. I charge at least $15 PLUS dinner for all my sexual escapades.

criminals and whores are not created by a drug that is prescribed to children for ADHD….perhaps we need to examine the possible causes of such negative behavior rather than “just blame meth”…but what a perfect distraction from the war in Iraq, the government, police brutality, bad TV, poor parenting, a flawed education system, violence in sports, cruelty to animals before we kill them for food…our ‘competitive goal oriented’ society….is it any wonder that we’re as screwed up as we are?

Lmao I remember the outrage at the top one. Some fancy-shmancy church mom said she didn’t want to have to explain to her kids what the top one meant when they blew it up and put it on a billboard. Montana’s reply? When they ask it’s a perfect time to teach your kids about the dangers of meth use.
And I love comments like Dino’s. Seriously? Go conspiracy theorize somewhere else. And these campaigns were not a distraction from every other freaking problem we have in the world. When they were conceived, Montana was rated as being one of the top ten states in the US with the most meth usage. It was a top concern for Montanans at the time.
Love your blog Chris. Just caught it (I think from a link on The Superficial…can’t really remember) but I’ve been going back through it. You are one funny dude.
