Rarely, if ever, will I bring you something that is not sports related, funny, stupid, or toilet humored.

This is one of those times.

There is a riveting piece in The New Yorker that I suggest you read entitled: “Up and Then Down: The lives of elevators.”

I know, many of you will say, uh, its about elevators, how interesting is that?

However, one of the many focuses of the piece is on a man named Nicholas White who was once trapped in an elevator for 41 straight hours.
