Don’t worry Isaac…even when the fix is in, the celtics can still find a way to lose. Why? They’re an over-hyped squad that has trouble winning, even when the events have been influenced to heavily favor them.
People that truly understand the game and actually play it, not just tune into to root for one player or jump on the bandwagon when the coast looks clear, will tell you that these celts are weak and are needing a little help getting past, what can plainly be described as a better TEAM than themselves.

The officiating in the playoffs has been poor. It’s obvious that the NBA wants an LA vs Boston finals.

im not even a celtics fan and i think you guys are ridiculous. theres nothing worse than fans that blame the refs for a loss. the only fans that have a legit gripe about the refs are spurs fans. you really think the refs not calling that moving screen caused the pistons to lose? please. quit whining and become a real fan.

It was definitely a moving screen. Should it have been called? Who knows. But the refs certainly wouldn’t let the pistons play defense down the stretch. Based on what had been called the rest of the fourth quarter, the whistle should have been blown. But the NBA is anything but consistent.
Providing Rip is healthy, I have the utmost confidence that the Pistons win this series. This may be the only team I’ve seen that seems to have control of a series down 3-2.

Nobody blamed the officiating for the loss. All I said was that the officiating has been horible in the playoffs. Not just for the Pistons…for every team. It’s been very inconsistent.

The general inconsistency of the refs only adds to the general conspiracy theory that Stern is influencing playoffs to his marketing and financial advantage.
Best way to cover up the terrible calls against one team is to make a few terrible calls against all teams.
Difference being, a ridiculously obvious moving screen/hip check and a form tackle by Paul Pierce on Billups are missed at the end of the game, but glossed over because the refs call a weak flagrant earlier in the game.
Of course, Rasheed is now Stern’s greatest weapon to influence this series. Just wait and see how quickly he gets that 7th tech whether he’s talking to the refs or not.
Which reminds me, I still have no clue what two of sheed’s tech’s were called for because the networks have been so god awful about showing replays of questionable calls, that you can never get a gauge on what the hell is going on.
Way to keep us all off balance David Stern…oh wait you’re not fooling anybody.
