I refuse to use the term “Manny being Manny”….
He makes a spectacular catch and then high fives a fan and then decides to double up the guy at first…
Classic!

I wasn’t sure it was an intentional high five at firt. After further review, Manny indeed initiated the five. He’s gotta be one of the better personality in baseball.
FYI–
I heard Tim Kurchin (sp?) mention that MLB hitters are on pace to hit 1000 less home runs this season than they did in 2006. He also said the average mph on the fastball is significantly lower. Please read between the lines.

Fastballs are down an average of 2mph.
Two great things about ManRam’s high five: 1. They were in Camden Yards, but he gave the high five to a Boston fan. 2. He had the presence of mind to fire it back in to double up the runner.
Baseball Tonight ran a “Top Ten Manny Moments” last night. Hilarious. Dig that up, please, WOI-N (WOI-Nerd).

A third great thing: after watching the replay of his hi-five in the dugout, he made fun of himself for how gay he looked.
Hey, I’m not baggin’ on him for lookin’ gay, it was hilarious and awesome, but it did kind of look gay.
