We have a guy who writes a blog on the internet being critical of the media in the third largest market in the United States. Wow and this guy thinks his career in journalism is real. I did not appreciate the off-handed comment about the mentality of southerners. As for whether or not the media believes wrestling is real, come on guy. The reporters responded to what they thought was an accident on the set. As far as they were concerned, it was a semi-local news story about a set collapse. They were not responding to any of the Kayfabe incidents they saw in the ring. The Death of Owen Hart was real by the way, and it happened at a wrestling show.
Before you try to lable me a some sort of gullible moron, I am not saying that the accident was real. Chris, you KNOW that I can answer that one. Of course it was a work. That is what the show is all about. However, I must say that it was well done enough to fool even some of the sharpest "Smarks". The breaking character and calling HHH by his real name was a great sell.
Much less an unsuspecting media in a nearby city, who was probably fed a "News tip" from an on-the-ball WWE PR rep....Sound familiar Chris? Just so you guys in Houston will know for sure; John Wayne did not really kill 60 Indians with a six-shooter without re-loading and Rocky did not really whoop that 6ft. 5" 280 mercenary who claimed to be from being Now putting that crap aside, I really did not appreciate the way tou talked about those of us with Southern heritage. See you later.
