The results are in and as predicted, it wasn’t pretty for the good ole US of A. However, to be honest, we did better than I thought we would in this WAG Ryder Cup-like event.

Over 40,000 votes were tallied and the results were quite biased depending on where they took place. Voting at on 205th had the Americans winning six of the 10 matches, while voting at The Spoiler had the Europeans winning eight of the 10 matches. The overall breakdown of the voting at on 205th however had the Europeans winning by landslides in many cases and an overall voting total of 48% for the US and 52% for the Euros. Over at The Spoiler it was 61% overall for the Europeans and 39% for the Americans. The combined totals meant that the European ladies won by a 7-3 margin with 55% of the total vote.

In closing this out, it looks like the US is doing okay, but still has some work to do. I mean, when Ingrid Vandebosch doesn’t even make the European team, we have a long ways to go to catch up. The hot women of America need to step up now and start dating some athletes if we have any chance of winning this event in 2009. Get to work, girls…
