The Pistons have been in contact with several free-agent swingmen around the league, and one name is particularly interesting.
Former Piston Carlos Delfino is among the free agents the team is considering signing.
I like JoeD, but I have to admit, in the last couple of weeks I’ve thought about assassinating him.
And this, this might push me over the top.

To be honest…I like Delfino. I don’t think he got a fair shot in Detroit. He was always the 3rd SG/SF off the bench.
Last year he averaged 9pts, 4.4rebs, 1.8 ast in 23.5min. Thats not bad for a backup. Compare that to Maxiell, who averaged 7.9pts, 5.3 rebs, 0.6 ast in 21.5 min.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not about to shell out the loot for him, but he might not be bad for the right price….and his defense better improve.
