Kicking & Screaming was funny. There were lame, family-friendly parts, true, but it was funny.
The Coffee Shop scene, when he orders from the back of the line.
When he’s picking starters: “You, you, you, not you, you.”
When he yells at Ditka like Ditka, and calls him juice box.
When some lady tells him to ease up and he yells her to ease up on that denim jacket she’s wearing.
Good stuff. But, even with that said: well done.

There may be an occasional funny part but none were as funny as half the stuff in anchorman or old school

One of my favorites is the scene in Zoolander where Mugatu’s assistant spills his latte on him. That was a really funny scene.

i cant believe you think the baby jesus one was lame
and the boner, yes, it deserves to be on the list somewhere…

the fact that you’d write off blades of glory (and kicking and screaming) like that are a complete injustice to exactly what you are trying to do here – list the funniest will ferrell movie scenes. pretty weak. some of these are hilarious, i’d call it a decent start but if you truly want the best scenes you need to pick from more movies, and replace some of the current ones.

How about from the first Austin Powers, when he was Mustafa:

Are there any scenes in Blades of Glory or Kicking and Screaming that are funnier than the ones listed here Michael?

He was great in Austin Powers, after he got injured “my leg, it’s broken”.
Good stuff in Zoolander too, and there was a few good scenes in Night at the Roxbury, but only becuase it was the same joke told 50 times.

Great list, #1 should not be #1 but on the list. #3 is my fave.
Also, I think one scene from a “night at the roxbury” could have been on here. But great list.

Where’s the “Trust Tree…Nest” scene in Old School?
“Well, uh I guess I, deep down, am feeling a little confused. I mean, suddenly, you get married, and you’re supposed to be this entirely different guy. I don’t feel different. I mean, take yesterday for example. We were out at the Olive Garden for dinner, which was lovely. And uh, I happen to look over at a certain point during the meal and see a waitress taking an order, and I found myself wondering what color her underpants might be. Her panties. Uh, odds are they are probably basic white, cotton, underpants. But I sort of think well maybe they’re silk panties, maybe it’s a thong. Maybe it’s something really cool that I don’t even know about. You know, and uh, and I started feeling… what? what I thought we were in the trust tree in the nest, were we not?”

pretty good list. I won’t criticize too much. I agree with leaving off Blades of Glory and Kicking & Screaming. I would leave off All-Pro, but it’s your list. Definitely should’ve had some Zoolander on here. I think it’s amazing how many Anchorman scenes you had and yet there were so many left. That movie’s greatness cannot be measured.

Great list. I think that the newsteam fight from Anchorman should have been on there. Along with the sex addict meeting from Blades of Glory. But the funniest Will Ferrell scene in my opinion is a scene from The Ladies Man during that one meeting when he’s telling the story about how his wife cheated on him because he loved Greco roman style wrestling. Maybe it’s just me but that is one of my all-time funniest Will Ferrell scenes.

Fantastic Andy… Good choices. For sure, the tiny baby Jesus scene needed to be in here. I also agree with your heavy focus on Anchorman and Old school, his later films are not as good as those. Well Done!

“Hey shut up out there”
“no you shut up in there!”
“you could like put him on your shoulders to make like a giant mega person or something”
Notable in that movie to Mike Ditka for calling the vietnamese kid “Bing Bong” lol.

blades of glory and elf are by far the worst movies hollywood has ever put out, Talladega Nights is close….at least it had some good lines
kicking and screaming was terrible as well, except for calling ditka “juice box”, that deserved a spot i think
ferrel in austin powers deserved to be in there somewhere, if you just put the entire anchorman movie as #1 and old school movie as #2, you have so much more room to include his lesser lines

You’re gonna have to redo this list now that Step Brothers is out. Scenes such as “fancy Sauce”, “nuts on the drum set”, “the catalina wine mixer song”, “Boats and Hoes”, and any one of the tag team interviews were all as funny as anything ever!

Kicking and Screaming was a funney movie. Will Ferrell calling Mike Ditka “Juice box Guy” was hilarious.

Okay, I personally think that Blades of Glory is one of his finest movies. His one liners are hysterical, and maybe he doesn’t have as many whole scenes which could be why it’s not on the list. “Chazz: Hey, MacElroy, was that your routine or a performance of Cirque de So Lame? Besides, you’re too late; they already handed out the girls’ medals this morning.
Jimmy: Shut up, Michaels. That was textbook execution. Same scores I beat you with in Oslo.
Chazz: I was on quaaludes, I don’t even REMEMBER Oslo. But I remember Boston, and that victory was as sweet as the cream pie for which the town was named.” Also Step Brothers should be on this list. Maybe it’s too recent though.

Blades Of Glory had much funnier parts than Anchorman. Anchorman's dialog was too deliberate and bogged down.

What about the Stepbrothers ‘Opening the Christmas Presents’ deleted scene.
It never made the final film but I still don’t why. Funniest I have ever seen Ferrell. It’s on youtube.
