I won’t call myself a Beach Volleyball buff. In fact, outside of my research into the arena of Beach Volleyball booties, you could call me a bit of a novice.
But I do know this.
If you’ve won 17 tournaments in a row and 96 matches in a row, you are probably pretty damn good.
And that’s exactly what Misty May and Kerri Walsh did yesterday as they won the Brooklyn Open yesterday.
By the way, the last time these lost a tournament they entered in?
August 2007
We’ve crowned a Super Bowl Champion, a NBA Finals Champion, and given out World Series ring since then.
