Thanks to a couple of the best MMA sites on the Internet I have the inside scoop on the next lady about to get steamrolled by the Conviction express, better known as Gina Carano, aka my future wife.
Cage Potato recently posted a video of Gina’s next beatdown victim. Her name is Kelly Kobald-Gavin. The video is of K-G’s last win, which came against Adrienna Jenkins last March in Minneapolis, a victory.
My man The Prophet over at The Savage Science tells us…
Kobold-Gavin ran off 16 straight victories before two consecutive losses in her most recent fights, though against solid competition. She lost a decision to tough Julie Kedzie (you’ll remember her from Carano’s first high profile TV bout on Showtime) and a submission loss to Tara LaRosa, who’s considered by many to be the best female fighter in the world.

All this excitement over Gina’s next fight is fine and dandy, but what I am really looking forward to is her fight with that dude from Brazil, Cris Cyborg (shield your eyes if you click here). After dropping that guy, Gina will have the honor of being the first female to defeat a male in sanctioned MMA competition.
