Every morning, I wake up early to peruse our terrible local papers.

And every once in awhile, something catches my eye.

Like today, it said the Lions were overconfident going into Sunday’s game.

(Brace yourself for a rant.)

Honestly, am I taking crazy pills or something? If I sucked that bad for that long, I would go into every game thinking the worse. I would go into every game thinking that at best, I’m lucky to have a job on the worst team in the league.

And then I hope the fans get so fed up that they storm the field and just starting beating up on players.

And not just throw beers and stuff. I’m talking an all out ass whooping. Dudes pulling out seats and beating players over the head with it. Parents using their children as tomahawks to take out several players at once.

And then I hope, somebody makes it up the owners suite and pulls Matt Millen by his ridiculous beard and tosses him 30 stories onto the field
