If smoking hot Miss America Kirsten Haglund sings the national anthem at a Lions game and nobody is there to see it, did it still happen?
Apparently so.
I know I said last week that I was pumped that the game was blacked out but now I’m just pissed off at the Lions yet again. If they didn’t suck so bad, maybe I could have recorded this and gotten better pics.
And for what its worth, while Haglund might be super hot, she also might be the bearer of bad tidings.
If you recall, she threw out the first pitch at Comerica Park this year and the Tigers proceeded to have one of the more disappointing seasons in MLB history. Picked by many to go to the playoffs and possibly make a return to the World Series, the Tigers finished last in the division.
Could this mean the Lions are destined for that fateful mark of 0-16.
Who knows….
I do know one thing for sure.
I hope to God Miss America stays the hell away from the Pistons opener on Wednesday.

I think you will have to come to the realization that Detroit sports teams (with the exception of the Red Wings) are just way worse than you think, and you can’t really blame some silly superstitions. Boston finally realized that, and look at how they are doing. Detroit is getting dangerously close to becoming Chicago.
