I am talking about a man with a career .238 average. I’m talking about a man with no power the behind the plate. I’m talking of course about the signing of backup catcher Matt Treanor.

And while Treanor literally possesses no unique skills, his better half might have one of the most unique physiques ever.

See, in Detroit we are in down economic times. There isn’t much to be happy about these days. So when a WAG of Misty May’s quality comes rolling into town, well hell, there should be a damn ticker tape parade.

If the powers that be in Detroit are smart (which they’re not), they will market the crap out of this. In fact, I can see it now, the very first indoor beach volleyball tournament at Ford Field.
