Even though the Lions are coming off a disastrous 0-16 season and nobody, and I mean nobody outside of Detroit wants to see them play, the NFL will not strip them of the Thanksgiving game.
The Lions’ Thanksgiving Day game is not on the agenda for the NFL annual meeting March 22-25 in Dana Point, Calif., league spokesman Greg Aiello said.
Thank you NFL for keeping this sacred tradition. Now I don’t have to change my Thanksgiving tradition of waking up, dumping, eating, watching the Lions game, throwing up from the crap they put on the field, eating, taking a nap, dumping, watching the Lions down 30 in the fourth quarter, throwing up again, eating, and then finally sleeping.
Oh yea, I forgot to add dumping at the end.
My bad.

Did Roger Goddell and the NFL committee who allowed this thing to happen get to review the photo that you posted along with this? Perhaps their judgement would have been very different if they had!
