I rarely laugh out loud at things I’m watching or reading (so yes, my claims of “lol” are slightly exaggerated). But I actually guffawed at this part of last night’s South Park. The set-up: A joke about fishsticks and how takes over society with the punchline being, “You like fish sticks? I didn’t know you were a gay fish.” Say it out loud and it’ll make sense. Meanwhile the only person who doesn’t get it is Kanye West. So, to come to grips with his reality as a “gay fish” If that still doesn’t make sense, just watch the episode.

I’m in the minority, I think, when I say that I generally like Kanye’s autotune songs. But the episode just nailed him (and South Park’s Comedy Central partner Carlos Mencia) so beautifully that you’re doing yourself a disservice by not watching it. It kills me to see people who can do things that are so masterful and hilarious off of the most abstract concept.

Then again, I’m pretty sure I’ll post a video of a cute kitty cat doing something odd and immediately follow it up with something about date rape or racism in the next week or so. So who’s the real creative thinker here? Oh. Still not me. *sniff sniff
