The year was 1975, and a group called KISS overtook the town of Cadillac, Michigan. As a lifelong KISS fan, I have read the fabled tales of how the hard rock glam band had the Cadillac High School football team wearing KISS makeup during a game to break a losing streak. A parade in Cadillac and the key to the city went to KISS, a whopping 34 years ago.
Well, the band is doing something unique for their upcoming tour. By going to their official webiste, you can vote on what cities they will play on their upcoming tour. Paul Stanley was quoted as saying, “The size of the town or venue means nothing, whoever wants us the most will get us.” How cool would it be to redo a KISS visit to Cadillac? Kiss credits the greater Detroit area as the town that they got their first big break in, so I am sure they would have no objections doing ten dates in Michigan cities.

I have seen Kiss live 23 times throughout the years and they have never been in my hometown and probably will never be. So what, I will follow them around the globe.
