We’re generally not too considerate towards Jesus’s feelings. Could you imagine if he woke up today and went into a church, then saw his likeness nailed to a cross? How fed up would that be. I can’t imagine that’d be what he wanted to see when he enters a monument to him. He’d probably recoil like a vampire.
