I have to admit…I don’t expect stabbings and hit-and-runs coming from a guy who goes by the nickname “Crazy Chris.” Seems like he’d be an upstanding guy.

Police have a stabbing suspect’s pictures and alias. They just need one more thing before they can arrest him: his name.

Authorities think a man who goes by the nickname “Crazy Chris” repeatedly stabbed another man July 28 outside the Vintage Sports Bar. That victim was taken to a hospital in serious condition, but survived and has since been released, said Tania Rues, a city police spokeswoman.

After the stabbing, “Crazy Chris” jumped into his gold, four-door car and sped away, striking two of his victim’s friends with the vehicle, Rues said.

Investigators found out the man’s nickname, which led them to pictures he had posted under that name on a website, Rues said. Witnesses who were shown the pictures identified the man as the assailant, officials said.
