I voted for Cousins, but to be fair, it is based on last season. I liked what I saw out of Cousins in real game situations and was satisified with MSU's outlook at QB for '09. That's not really fair to Nichol, because I have never seen him play in East Lansing and he may be great (I don't care about off-season numbers – they mean nothing. nothing), but given my ignorance, I don't think it would be fair to Cousins not to give him the benefit of the doubt. He's smart, he's got a good arm, and he's done a good job so far.
Apparently Cousins has been named one of the captains. I would only assume that means he's going to be the starter.
