Can someone please explain to me how the Baseball Hall of Fame works…because truthfully, I don’t understand it when the following statement is made…
“He’s not a first ballot HOF’er”
Amy Nelson, a writer for ESPN tweeted this after talking to a Hall of Fame voter…
I’d love to know who that voter is. But I’d like to then take that voter and kick him squarely in the testicles.
Earth to archaic baseball writers/voters:
If you are good enough to get in on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th ballots, you are good enough to get in TODAY. And for the five people who turned in blank ballots, uh, what’s wrong? Seriously, please remove the bat from your arse and allow me to vote for you next time.
Because, trust me, its a damn shame that Jack Morris, Alan Trammell, and Bert Byleven are on the outside looking in.
