‘Saved by the Bell’ was thee finest TV show of the 90s. So If you’re a fan of Zack, Kelly, Slater, Jessie, Lisa, Screech, inappropriate wooing and caffeine pill meltdowns, you’ll absolutely love these GIFs we put together.

Allow me to tell you the story of Bayside High School…

There was a guy named Zack Morris, the popular, preppy kid.

Kelly Kapowski, the smoking hot, All-American girl.

A.C. Slater, the jock.

Jessie Spano, the brainiac.

Lisa Turtle, the fashionista.

Screech, the nerd they let tag along.

Tori Scott, who created quite a paradox.

And of course, their principal, Mr. Belding.

The story starts with Zack, who was madly in love with Kelly.

It was the classic tale of the popular guy and the cheerleader.

But Slater also vied for Kelly’s attention, impressing her with his dance moves.

An ugly feud arose between Zack and Slater

They even came to blows one time.

Kelly thought they were acting like children.

She even began dating other men.

Sometimes she cried herself to sleep

She turned to her friends for help.

But Lisa’s mind was elsewhere, clearly frustrated she wasn’t the center of attention

Jessie had family issues to deal with.

And Screech, well, he was just an idiot.

Finally, Kelly looked long and hard in the mirror.

And decided Zack was her true love.

Zack was beside himself, celebrated with an air guitar.

Slater was pissed, told Kelly how he felt.

He temporarily lost his mind and began harassing women.

Eventually, after a long talk with a friend, he came to his senses.

Found somebody who enjoyed dancing as much as him.

Well, almost as much.

Meanwhile, Lisa was working out.

In an effort to fend off the sexual advances of Screech.

Who, was still really, really weird.

I mean, nobody liked the guy.

He even turned on his best friend Zack.

But he cried and and cried and they were forced to keep him around.

As the crew got older, they faced real life issues.

Drugs.

Drunk driving.

An identity crisis.

Their band breaking up.

Infidelity.

Natural disasters.

Going to the military.

A brief modeling career.

A friend’s homelessness.

Sexual frustration.

But they persevered and got to graduation.

Years later Zack and Kelly found each other again

Got married in Vegas

And everyone lived happily ever after…because as far as I’m concerned, this show NEVER existed.

House @ 8pm, Fox: Sadly, Wilson will probably die in the series finale. And not from lupus either.

Lakers-Thunder @ 9:30pm, TNT: R.I.P. Los Angeles Lakers 2011-2012. It was a nice run. Now blow it up.

The Bachelorette @ 9pm, ABC: I can’t remember—did we decide if Emily Maynard is hot?

Sixers-Celtics @ 7pm, TNT: Frankly, neither of these teams are very good. But I guess someone’s gotta play the Heat in the next round.

Olympic hottie Jessica Ennis sets personal best only to find out organizers screwed up

Heptathlete Jessica Ennis was celebrating a personal best in the 100m hurdles Sunday when organizers informed her of a massive foul up. They put 9 hurdles in the race instead of the required 10. Oops. The incident took place at the Great CityGames in Manchester, an event track stars probably won’t visit after such an elementary mistake.

Here’s what Ennis had to say after the race:

“I feel let down,” said Ennis, in a rare show of frustration. “I felt like it was a good race, I was running well, I was obviously coming through at the end, stick another hurdle on there it would have been the same outcome but, argh, I’m so annoyed. What can I say? I’ve still had a good competitive race but I’ve just not got the result that I wanted.”

In somewhat related news, Jessica Ennis is mildly attractive and her six-pack is quite impressive.

Classy catfight in Wrigleyville

With Memorial Day on the horizon and with the media bonanza of tanning mom Patricia Krentcil, let these photos serve as a scary reminder of what too much sun can do to you. You’re not attractive with your leather skin, you don’t look hot as an Oompa Loompa and you certainly won’t win any beauty contests with those nasty tan lines.

Blake Griffin’s tooth went through his lip

Blake Griffin has a pretty nasty taste in his mouth this morning and it has nothing to do with the Spurs sweep of his Clippers. In a nasty collision with Manu Ginobili, Griffin’s tooth brutally went through his lip. It’s quite disgusting. Almost as disgusting as Chris Paul’s late game performance last night.

The best part of the aftermath was this fan behind the Clippers bench. He goes through a wide array of emotions before finally pulling out his cell phone to document it.

Griffin received stitches at halftime to close the wound. Suffice it to say, he’ll need to see a dentist sometime today as well. Preferably one who performs better under pressure than the Clips.

Kevin Durant all but ended the Lakers season last night

Kevin Durant solidified himself as one of the NBA’s best closers with this three-point dagger against the Lakers. The game-winner gave the Thunder a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Lakers and effectively ended their season. Their rebuilding effort will begin as soon as Monday.

Durant and teammate Russell Westbrook combinbed for 68 points on 25-44 shooting. A truly marvelous effort and one of those games that makes you wonder if they have enough star power to get past the “team friendly” San Antonio Spurs. We’ll find out sometime next week.

Justin Verlander drops an f-bomb in response to stupidest question ever

CNN’s Lisa Sylvester is usually on top of her game as a correspondent for The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, but today, uh, not so much. While reporting on the bees issue at the Rockies-Diamondbacks game, Sylvester quipped: “It wasn’t a Columbus Yellow Jackets hockey game–had it been, they could have possibly stayed on a mascot….” Of course, Sylvester meant to say Blue Jackets. You know, the team that’s been in the NHL for 11 seasons and have yet to win a playoff game. Yea, them.

By the way Lisa, here’s a brief history of the Blue Jackets logo. They’re actually named after Naval seaman and not fake insects. *The more you know*

Steeplechase jumper falls in most hilarious fashion possible

I know nothing about the Steeplechase or even running for that matter, but I know this is not how you handle the obstacles.

Luckily, there was no serious injury according to the uploader.

During the steeplechase at my highschool’s annual relays (I go to Alhambra High School in Martinez, California), one of the runners tries to go over the steeple, flips, and goes in headfirst into the freezing cold water pit. The water pit is slanted, so the deepest it goes is about 4 feet. Yes, he did hit his head on the cement, but don’t worry, we consulted him after and he was fine.

Now that we know he’s ok despite hitting his head on the cement, here’a handy little GIF.

Robert Griffin III shows off his beatbox skills on the ‘Tonight Show’

If you didn’t know already, Robert Griffin III is a multi-talented individual. The Redskins’ top pick showed off one of his many skills on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno when he busted out some beats for the crowd. Leno tried to follow along but ended up looking like a drunk uncle at a wedding.

RGIII hit on a number of other issues including his proposal to girlfriend, Rebecca Liddicoat in 2010.

“I tried to trick her by saying that we were going to do something that the whole team was going to do at after we won. No one was there when we showed up, but she still believed me. Had a guy in there playing guitar, sung her a song. Had candles in the middle of the field with her family and my family holding them.”
