30 years of sexy ladies: The women of 1979 (Pt. 1)

1979… The Pittsburgh Steelers defeat the Dallas Cowboys 35–31 at the Orange Bowl in Miami. Nickelodeon launches as The Pinwheel Network. The Susan B. Anthony dollar is introduced in the U.S. The Entertainment Sports Programming Network, known as ESPN, debuts. And so many lovely ladies were born I had to split this into two entries…

Over the span of several weeks we will be taking a look at the sexiest women born between the years 1962 and 1991, culminating with you deciding which of these over 300 women is our 2010 Sexiest Woman of the Year.
