Brian Williams of NBC Nightly News (formerly of NBC Nightly News?) has at least one ally who’s got his back over this whole mis-remembering fiasco: Charlie Sheen.
Not sure Sheen’s the person you really want speaking for you in a time of need, even if he is really cool at Taco Bell after a bender, but Chuck is there anyway. Like hardcore there. As in he wrote a lengthy letter to Brian Williams on Twitter that The Daily Dot calls a poem.
Now I’m sure if Charlie’s message really is a poem per se, but his tweets always seem to look like they’ve been typed by someone who is addicted to the RETURN button and it does kind of appear like a poem when that happens.

Are we sure Charlie Sheen wasn’t writing this about himself? “A transparent and vile witch hunt … ‘staged’ by hooligans, non coms, cowards and oligarchs.” Sounds familiar.
The topper to me though is that “the MaSheen” offers Brian Williams refuge in his home. Now there is a reality show I would watch over and over again and would probably look a little something like this…
