Best part of Oscar week? Rourke or Stiller?

Unfortunately (especially since I stayed awake through the marathon of a show to hopefully see it), Mickey Rourke did not win the Oscar last night. I would have given anything to see Rourke up there in all his uncensored glory. Like for example, when he won the Independent Spirit Award for best actor right before the Oscars, whatever that is… (Be sure to note the camera shot of Anne Hathaway right after Mickey mentions anal … well directed right there.) You really owe it to yourself to watch this.

So since Mickey didn’t get his time on the stage, the best part of the night had to be Ben Stiller’s hilarious portrayal of Joaquin Phoenix. Natalie Portman’s reactions were the perfect compliment to Stiller’s mental wanderings throughout the bit.
