Boston’s Jon Lester threw a no-hitter

Thought it would be remiss of me not to post something on this since it’s only the ~~19th~~ 18th time in ~~Major League Baseball~~ Red Sox history that it’s happened. Boston Red Sox pitcher Jon Lester, 24, no-hit the Kansas City Royals 7-0 at Fenway Park Monday night. What makes this one a bit more special is that 21 months ago Lester was diagnosed with lymphoma. He is cancer-free now and will forever be in the record books.
