Chris Klein makes everyone uncomfortable

This is Chris Klein (best known from American Pie) trying to sing at an audition for the film Mama Mia and it’s both sad and uncomfortable.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news and point out the shortcomings of others, but Chris Klein may want to skip musical auditions from now on because he can’t carry a tune in a bucket. I mean, at some point, before this audition, doesn’t someone tell him that he can’t sing? I understand that actors have fragile psyches but it probably could have saved the actor some time and embarrassment if his agent just tells him that musicals may not be in his wheelhouse. On the bright side, he isn’t Jason Biggs and he didn’t have to fornicate with an apple pie, so I guess there’s always that. Although this audition tape is kinda brutal to watch. I’m going to call it a draw.
