Probably my favorite willing-to-get-naked-on-cable TV star, Emmy Rossum, is in the latest issue of Malibu magazine looking quite sexy, as usual, but that’s not all. She also spoke!

What has shaped you the most in these last three years?
I am living on the West Coast. I have had various break-ups and make-ups in relationships. I have a cat and two dogs. I met my dad for the first time. Working on Shameless with Bill Macy has been an incredible experience. I guess he inspired me to want to seek out my father and get some answers.

Ah, okay, well that explains a lot about why she’s one of my favorite willing-to-get-naked-on-cable TV stars. Daddy issues. Awesome. I wish she lived in my town. I’d be all over that shiznit. She also said that for a while, in her teen years, she was the provider for her family.

I knew none of this. I just thought she was another spoiled Hollywood hottie. Sounds like she might have had a rough life growing up. I need to go read this women’s bio.

Hmmm… it says that she’s the niece of Vera Wang and she was a member of the Metropolitan Opera Children’s Chorus by the age of 7.

Yep. Rough.
