Filippa Hamilton, a 5-10, 120 pound model for Ralph Lauren, was apparently fired for being too fat (so she says).
“They fired me because they said I was overweight and I couldn’t fit in their clothes anymore,” she said.
The 5-foot-10, 120-pound stunner was amazed to see her body digitally distorted for Ralph Lauren Blue Label.
“I was shocked to see that super skinny girl with my face,” she told the Daily News. “It’s very sad, I think, that Ralph Lauren could do something like that.”
Hmmm… I find this all a bit dubious, Filippa. One, she is not fat. Two, doesn’t Ralph Lauren’s ad agency employ graphic designers? Obviously they do (really bad ones) since the ad above has been Photoshopped to make her look like she hasn’t eaten in, well, ever. I am guessing that Filippa got fired because they just didn’t want her to work for them anymore. How did I come to that conclusion? The small fact that Polo Ralph Lauren said in a statement Tuesday night that Filippa is a “beautiful and healthy” woman but their relationship ended “as a result of her inability to meet the obligations under her contract with us.” But that’s okay, Guyism needs a spokesmodel and I am officially extending an offer to her. The pay is low, but the perks are fantastic… (i.e. you get to date the celebrity editor… rowrrr…)
