Why isn't this woman getting more starring roles?

I was just thinking recently, what the heck ever happened to Kristin Kreuk? So when I just ran across this photo shoot she did to promote Irvine Welsh’s Ecstasy I figured maybe some of you were wondering the same thing. I’m not exactly sure what Ecstasy is or who Irvine Welsh is though. Ah, here we go, Ecstasy is going to be a movie based on a book by Irvine Welsh, the guy who wrote Trainspotting. Kristen is going to play the role of Heather Thompson (for those of you that actually have any idea what the book is about). I guess Kristen is also set to appear in a movie called Vampire this year. I don’t know if either of those flicks will be any good, but I’m just glad she’s doing them because that means she’ll be doing more photo shoots to promote them.
