  • The defamation lawsuit between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard continues to messily unfold.
  • Amber Heard claims she’s had “a bunch” of scenes removed from the upcoming Aquaman sequel.
  • A petition to have her removed from the film entirely has recently surpassed 4 million signatures.

Amber Heard has begun to testify in the ongoing defamation lawsuit between her and her ex-husband Johnny Depp and has claimed that Warner Bros. cut some of her scenes out of the upcoming Aquaman sequel, which will hit theaters next March.

Amber Heard says she had scenes cut out of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

“I was given a script then given new versions of the script that had taken away scenes that had action in it, that depicted my character and another character, without giving any spoilers away, two characters fighting with one another,” Heard testified. “They basically took a bunch out of my role. They just removed a bunch.”

The desire to see Heard removed from Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is certainly more than speculation, as a petition on Change.org calling for her to be fired from the cast has surpassed 4 million signatures.

In addition to her claims about the Aquaman franchise, Heard also denied the allegations that she left “human fecal matter” on the couple’s bed and said it belonged to their dog.

In addition to Heard, Aquaman and the Lost King — the sequel to 2018’s billion-dollar-grossing Aquaman — stars Jason Momoa as the titular King of Atlantis, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nicole Kidman, and Temuera Morrison. At this time, the James Wan-directed film is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on March 17, 2023.
