As if weren’t already abundantly clear from last season of Jersey Shore that Snooki Polizzi was a bit drunk and disorderly, the courts have now weighed in on this situation, and it turns out even they find Snooki to be a bit too drunk and disorderly for public consumption. Except they get to fine her…

I’m sure some of you have heard the story, but may not have heard the full story of what happened to Snooks over the past few weeks. Seems the large sunglasses, f-bombs and rhinestone hats that put Glenn Campbell to shame couldn’t keep Ms. Polizzi from getting slapped with charges of disorderly conduct and creating a public nuisance for a drunken tirade on July 30th in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.

That day Polizzi had had a little too much to drink (go figure) and after spending the afternoon visiting a sex shop, chugging tequila shots and long islands iced teas — she pulled this maneuver…

It probably would have ended with just a few hours in the drunk tank if she wouldn’t have been quite rude to the boys in blue.

I guess it’s a good thing that fame doesn’t go to your liver, otherwise that baby may have exploded. But yesterday she was hit with charges after being a no-show at court. There will probably only be a $500 fine when all is set and done, but it just goes to show that no guido is above the law –even in New Jersey.

Now here’s where things get interesting. Snooki obviously doesn’t have much respect for herself,  the police or any judge appointed to her case, and MTV just wants ratings, so it seems like a logical step in this situation would be to hype this court appearance  up and make it as dramatic as possible. Why not get Judge Judy to come on the show to do a guest spot? These Jersey Shore people are always in trouble and now somehow feel like their fame puts them above the law, so why not find the one judge that could put them in their place? Who wouldn’t want to see Snooki vs. Judy in an MTV court of law? Judy screaming, Snooki drunkenly snarling, The Situation pointing to his stomach while screaming “Ab-jection, your honor!” and J-Wow, well J-Wow in clothes that actually covered her abdomen. That would make for a circus of a court appearance and a rating bonanza.

I don’t watch The Jersey Shore, but I would tune in to see that. You’ve got till Sept 8th, MTV. Make it happen.
