Why didn’t Silva Lucimara get more Olympic coverage?

While we mourn no longer getting to see Olympic javelin-ete? -ite? -er? Leryn Franco, one has to wonder why Brazil’s Silva Lucimara did not receive more coverage at the Games this year?
