I’m just glad to see such a mixed opinion of the article… I’m somewhat torn between “Judgemental B****” and “I see your point”… I really kind of dig people’s choice in their photos… however, I do think that a photo that does not clearly show yourself is impersonal and not worth my attention at best; weak and insecure more likely.

I will say, headshot photos and childhood photos I actually really like. They show people at their best, which to me is admirable; you took the time to get a professional photo taken? There’s nothing more authentic than a chipper, playful kid not at a all minding his mom and her camera. Celeb photos are pretty cool too; but to earn merit as a default pic, it should be recent otherwise it just shows you don’t really have anything going on in your life.

… just my two cents

There’s a little more to this than the story told. This is a cemetery that had been unknown for decades. The land had been sold for taxes in the 1930’s and was apparently resold to the city in 1981. They began site preparation this year to put up housing when remains were noticed. Originally they thought there were 30-60 graves there – that’s why it was news that there were 350.

Uh, HELLO?! Track & Field hands down, with gymnasts a close second. There’s just too much cottage cheese stuffed into those volleyball shorts. The tennis skirt is timeless and classy. The golf short/skirt when they pick up the ball. Beach volley ball only if you don’t look at who’s in them. I have issues with nylons over great legs so pro cheerleaders and skaters are out. Put on fishnets and we’ll talk. Field hockey, very classy. You’ll get no complaints from me on the wetsuit. Netballers obviously were shorts underneath so it’s confusing. Soccer is a beautiful game, but the outfits are too masculine. They even yell out, ‘Man on’ when someone comes up to defend.
