Taiwanese animation of AOL’s Huffpo purchase is amazing

Will Brinson

So, AOL decided to light all its sports content on fire, sell a bunch of traffic to Sporting News and then used the money to buy Huffington Post.

This would be exciting “tech news” except for the fact that it simply renders two ultimately irrelevant companies easier to ignore because they’ll be located at one place.

Even if you’re sick and tired of these Taiwanese animations (which is totally understandable, although Next Media Animation, who created this one, has made some pretty, pretty hysterical ones over the past few months), it’s worth watching just to see Tim Armstrong angrily storming around a boardroom with “Goals for 2011: make it 1997 again through magic and science” written in the background.

Ed. Note: Yes, I wrote the wrong country originally. Fixed now. My apologies. And thanks to New Media Animation for the awesome work on this.

What'd you think of this?
