VIDEO: The new trailer for ‘Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter’

I’d heard about this new film Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter but I thought it was too good to be true, or maybe I had just imagined it, but now there’s an official trailer so I know that it’s really, actually happening.

Sad as it is to say, this is NOT based on a true story. It’s actually based on a novel by Seth Grahame-Smith published in 2010, which tells the story of how Abe learned that vampires were real from his dad, and that they had killed his grandfather and his mom setting him on a course tracking down vampires at night and chopping them up with an axe, while also managing his burgeoning political career.

Oh yeah, that’s also why John Wilkes Booth shot him, because, you know, Booth was a vampire too.
