‘Alter Egos’ trailer with some not-so-super heroes

Dressing up with your underwear outside of your pants and punching people isn’t just a job. It’s a lifestyle. Sure, superhero movies make a bazillion dollars now, but I can’t see quirky indie comedy Alter Egos racking up Avengers-level scrilla. Still looks promising, though. The premise is simple: the government cuts all funds for superheroes, leaving our adventurers out on the streets forced to pay for their own Batcaves. Even worse, the main character’s girlfriend is cheating on him – with his secret identity. It’s got a powerful nerd pedigree, as Kevin Smith is distributing it through his Smodcast Pictures. Alter Egos is playing in limited engagements now and opens wide later this year.
