‘Citadel’ trailer locks you up in terror
K. Thor Jensen Kids are scary. Feral housing project kids are even scarier. Irish director Ciaran Foy brings us this creepy little entertainment, which stars Aneurin Barnard as Tommy Fowley, an ordinary Joe whose wife is attacked by a gang of wild, animalistic kids armed with syringes that rampage through the town unchecked. Now they’ve set their sights on his baby daughter, and he needs to get to the bottom of exactly what makes these punks so crazy. To do that, though, he needs to venture into the abandoned housing tower that they call home. No thank you! Citadel opens on November 9th.
