VIDEO: The audience reacts to M. Night Shyamalan’s name

If you saw Inception this weekend (and if you didn’t, go see it…great movie), you may have noticed the trailer for a new M. Night Shyamalan movie called Devil attached to it. The same reaction to Shyamalan’s name that you’ll see in this video happened in my theatre, and I can assume countless others across the country, as well.

As a creative person, I can imagine nothing more disappointing in life than the very appearance of your name makes people laugh at how incompetent you are at your chosen profession. Precisely the reason my “Porn Featuring Average Guys” series didn’t work out. It’s just like, can’t I be just an average guy despite being hung like a horse with really good blood flow? People..always so quick to judge.
