Matthew McConaughey can't stand up

Matthew McConaughey is the patron saint of romantic comedies and with good reason. But he deserves even more credit than he currently gets for his courage. According to a recent report, Matthew McConaughey is faced with a crippling illness…he can’t stand up under his own power in a movie poster.

That is so courageous. I like that his costars are so understanding of his illness and must say things like, “Matthew, don’t cry, we will make this work.” It’s so nice to see such camaraderie in a competitive industry.

Additionally anyone going to see a Matthew McConaughey movie must relate to him on a pretty deep level. They must have a mental handicap to match Matthew’s obvious physical one.
