How will the bots look in the Robocop remake? Like this. The first teaser for the rebooted Robocop, helmed by Brazilian director Jose Padilha, has hit the tubes, and it’s quite naturally in the form of a commercial for OCP, the evil corporation that turns Officer Alex Murphy into the clanking engine of law & order we all know and love. One of the best things about this video is that they’ve kept the old-school octagonal OCP logo, which is a nice throwback to the original. Tentatively excited about this remake, even if I’m still not sure it should exist. Robocop is set for release in August of 2013.
