New ‘Oblivion’ trailer destroys Earth again
K. Thor Jensen Not sure what to think about this flick, but Morgan Freeman is always a good sign. Oblivion is one of several post-apocalyptic movies coming out this year, making me think that we’re probably in our last days as a civilization. Wow, I’m glad we made “Call Me Maybe” before it all went down. In Oblivion, Tom Cruise plays a repairman left behind to tend to drones keeping the surface safe. Unfortunately, when he meets a strange woman he learns that maybe things aren’t as cut and dried as he thought. Oblivion opens April 12th.
