The ‘Daredevil’ movie that will never be made
K. Thor Jensen The world has lost something beautiful. So the film rights to the Daredevil franchise are in a weird place right now, with Fox about to lose their option on the property. Current reports have the studio focusing on rebooting the Fantastic Four movies and just letting old horn-head go. For a hot minute, it looked like director Joe Carnahan would be behind the wheel of a new movie at Fox, based on the classic Born Again storyline. Carnahan never had the chance to shoot a frame of footage, but he did put together a “sizzle reel” to demonstrate his approach to the material, and it’s freaking awesome.
