‘The Dark Knight Returns’ trailer gets animated

Just in case you haven’t had enough Batman this week. I haven’t. The classic Batman animated series still stands as one of the best adaptations of the iconic character, so I’m more than pleased that DC is going back to the well with an incredible-looking new animated movie, The Dark Knight Returns. Based on the groundbreaking Frank Miller graphic novel, the flick stars Peter Weller as an aged, retired Batman who is forced back onto the streets of Gotham when some of his old foes come out to play once more. The visual style looks great and I’m psyched to see this when it comes out on DVD and Blu-ray September 25th.
