Welp, never thought I’d write that headline. In the Department of Perplexing Trailers, here’s a clip for Here Comes The Boom, a new comedy starring Kevin James (Zookeeper, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, other garbage) where he plays a high school teacher who starts competing in mixed martial arts fights to make money. Uh, what? Apparently his school is facing huge budget cuts and instead of having a bake sale or something they decide that the best way to fund programs is to have a teacher batter other men into unconsciousness. Oh, and Salma Hayek is in it. Here Comes The Boom hits theaters on October 12th.
