The trailer for Bruno is out

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Borat before the movie came out and I basically have no awareness of Bruno other than he’s gay and something European (which I probably could have left at “something European”). But the trailer seems fun. It’s NSFW though at one point so, tread lightly.

In case you gave up in the beginning, the best part of the trailer involves a black baby on a talk show. So stick around until that part, at least.

I like how this movie is really outside the box. A gay fashion designer? What an absurd concept. How could you possibly be gay when all you do is spend time putting clothes on sexy women?

I don’t know how you could possibly follow up this outlandish concept for a movie though and make an even more unconventional premise. Maybe Jinto the Asian Tourist Who Smokes A Lot of Marlboro Reds in Between Photographing Monuments (and Probably Can’t Drive) or Harry the Racist Alabama Police Officer Whose Daughter Is Taking More Black Inches Than the Guy Measuring Prospects at the NBA Draft Combine Because She Secretly Hates Her Father and Will Probably End Up on Welfare by the Time She’s 20 with Five Babies of Indeterminable Ethnic Origins. Break that mold, Sacha Baron Cohen. Break it.
