VIDEO: The Olsen Twins as little girls were adorably racist
If you’re a sheltered little white girl with your equally sheltered little white girl twin wandering the big city like the Olsen Twins in their 1992 film “To Grandmother’s House We Go” and you come across a black man soulfully playing the saxophone, what do you do? Tip him with fried chicken, of course!
There comes a time in every young white person’s life where they have to ignorantly insult a random black person to their shock and disgust, so it’s good these girls got this out of the way so early. I think the reemergence of this clip should lead to an Olsen Twin movie reunion tackling modern issues of the race or, perhaps, just a remake of the 1946 Disney racist opus “Song of the South”. Combine that with some loose rip-off of “The Parent Trap” and you’ve got yourself a hit that delights and offends!
